How Compression Block Technology works:

Energy absorption
Absorbing impact is the key to protection. Patented hollow Compression Block™ cells provide the maximum absorption of impact by flexing horizontally as they compress, transferring energy sideways, so very little is transferred to the body.

Ventilation
Breathability is the key to playing longer: getting heat and moisture out of clothing and cycling cool air in helps muscles last longer in extreme play conditions. The holes in the Compression Block™ cells provide better ventilation than solid foam pads.

Impact plates
Specially designed adjustable plates can be placed at key impact areas on the vest (by Velcro) to distribute the force of a strike across multiple Compression Block™ cells, drastically reducing the effect of a hit.
